Designed by Igor Stechkin in 1949 and produced by Vytatsky Polyany Plant (better known for the production of RPK LMG), APS is a blow-back, select-fire pistol fed through 20-round double-stack magazine with effective range of fire up to 200 meters. It's dark red bakelite (fibreglass) detachable butt stock is also a pistol's holster. APS shares some of its features with Makarov service pistol, such as a magazine release,
slide-mounted safety catch etc. It was designed as a compact CQB weapon for Soviet tank crew personnel and jet pilots. Our .177 and 6mm Co2 versions are GLETCHER Stechkin APS (Avtomatichesky Pistolet Stechkina) come in either GBB or NBB variants , made from alloy. The power is 3 Joules. Authentic Soviet bakelite holster / buttstock is also available.
