177 TYPE 56 Co2 rifle

TYPE 56-1 air rifle

Our 4.5mm / .177 Chinese AKM (AK-47) Co2 BB rifles are based on Cybergun AK-47 steel receiver. It is a semi-automatic NBB Co2 rifle with a moving steel bolt-carrier and recoil spring. Some of its parts are genuine Type-56 parts - steel receiver (which can accomodate a real AK47 magazine), a dust cover and recoil spring. It also has a solid steel barrel (not a sleeve inside), which is pinned to a steel lower trunion. We remove "fake" alloy parts from the original CyberGun rifle and replace them with all new solid STEEL Norinco parts kit including a rear sight base, front sight block with bayonet attachment, gas block, gas tube, lower hand guard retainer, cleaning rod, a so-called "full-auto" trigger pin to plug holes in the receiver + 4 hours of labour including the use of lathe (£215 inc VAT), which requires the barrel to be taken off. The optional accessories include steel AK-47 magazine (£27) and its conversion into Co2 magazine (£98), a real AK47 magazine filled with five 7.62mm inert rounds (£37). Windage & elevation rear sight plates are also available on Accessories page.

AK47 mag with 5 inert rounds
Essentially TYPE 56 rifles are build as "DE-ACTIVATED" AKs with all moving parts, which are BB air rifles at the same time. They are cheaper then old spec deacts (!) and suitable for firearms training. A power upgrade comes as standard and all rifles are perfectly zeroed on our indoor range. We normally re-install the CuberGun furniture, unless a proper Norinco wooden stock set is available. We can also install all other stock sets on order

We can now offer a power upgrade version with power of up to 4.2 Joules (appx 480 fps / 155 m/s). Our CyberGun AKs are also perfectly zeroed at our indoor zero range. (What power upgrade means: one of two existing air valves was re-machined to allow more air pressure into the barrel, which is only achievable by use of some special tools). EXLUSIVELY from RusMilitary !

* Custom-built (converted) Co2 power upgrade magazines have to be fitted and tested for each individual rifle. We recommend that customers buy extra magazines at the time when ordering a rifle, so that we can fit everything properly in our workshop. Power mags are only available as a supplement to a purchased rifle. All sorts of other tactical furniture can be installed on order. Please contact us for options

LEARN how to fit magazine properly! Practice ROCK-N-LOCK technic with just a magazine body first (Pic1), making sure the mag "neck" is lined up with the receiver (Pic2). When fitting a fully assemble magazine (Pic3), it will feel harder to pull it backwards to lock in place because of the resistance of the rubberised chamber - wait for a "click" of the rear locking lug. Make sure a BB feeding hole is lined up with the barrel (rubberised chamber). If the trigger is not working, it means the magazine is not fitted properly. If a rubberised chamber prevents the magazine from being fitted correctly with a "click", push alluminium ring (Pic3) slightly forward with a screw driver and try again (CLICK on images below to enlarge). In order to reduce air leak while punching an airbulb, use a vice to increase the leverage and rotate a magazine itself instead of a tightening bolt. CLICK to view image.
